Trauma therapy, Ahwatukee

intergenerational trauma is the way painful experiences, unspoken rules, and survival strategies get passed down through families. It manifests as emotional shutdown, people-pleasing, anger, avoiding conflict, and depression and anxiety. In relationships, these inherited patterns can shape how you argue, how you seek comfort, and how safe you feel being vulnerable.

You get to determine who writes your story, how it’s written, and how it’s played out. Many of us have found we have been living out what someone else has written for us. We feel claustrophobic. Our behavior is reactive. We sever relationships. We have chaotic relationships. We feel dissociated from our intuition, from ourselves.

If you are ready to break through limiting beliefs and banish labels others have placed on you—if you want to write your own story—schedule an intake session. We will unwind the confusion, hold the most wounded parts dearly (and heal them!), create healthy, self-empowering boundaries (not steel walls), and build your self-confidence and self-trust.
